Doug's been in the industry longer than many clients have been alive! His talents and experience are invaluable to the COI team. As the leader he brings laughter and knowledge to the office daily. He loves spending time on the golf course, on the ski slopes, and with his grandchildren.
Susan has worked in the industry for over 30 years - 12 in manufacturing/production, 11 in manufacturing sales, and the last 10 leading the dealer sales team at COI. Susan's favorite part of the job is helping clients define and create spaces that truly reflect their culture and values. She loves her role as facilitator between the manufacturer, the A+D firm, the general contractors, and the client.
Marian's experience includes over 25 years in accounting, finance, operations, logistics, and IT. Her wealth of knowledge is a value to the COI team and our clients because she streamlines the process and improves efficiency.
With over 16 years experience collaborating with clients, construction teams and A+D professionals, Felice has diverse design, Project Management and Account Management experience making her a unique asset to the COI team. Felice really likes understanding the client and getting to know their needs so she can make recommendations for the best possible solutions to capture their culture. In her free-time, Felice enjoys dancing and taking her furry-kids on hikes
Terry joins us with 20 years of experience in the office furniture industry. His primary focuses are Project Management and Operations. Terry enjoys problem solving and going above and beyond for the clients. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and the outdoors with his wife and 2 children.
Susan has over 25 years’ experience in the industry with diverse experience in several market sectors. She loves creating solutions for her customers. Her passions are great design, traveling and watching her son Ian grow into a wonderful young man.
Deb got into the furniture industry 22 years ago and loves reading. When she’s not working, she and her sidekick Winston spend time with her granddaughter, Alyssa. Deb enjoys watching local live bands and VH1 classics. Her favorite movies are Singles and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Toni has been with COI in various capacities since 2008. Her previous experience as a Sales Coordinator and Project Manager give her the know-how to take a project from the planning stage and through Day 2. She has worked with clients including tech companies, law firms, universities, Navy bases and everything in between. She is enjoys working with her clients to create clever solutions that blend design and function. When she’s not at COI, she loves to travel and laugh and play with her husband and silly labradoodle.
Carey has over 25 years of experience in the furniture industry and is enthusiastic about the transformation of spaces and being a part of the collaboration process to make that happen. When she is not working she enjoys wine tasting with friends, going to the beach, hiking, dancing and watching the Seahawks!
Katherine has over 15 years of experience in the furniture industry. She has worked with a variety of companies such as tech, corporate retailers, car dealerships and healthcare companies. As an added bonus she brings an Interior design degree with a NCIDQ certificate and enjoys utilizing that background to help achieve the vision of her clients. Katherine enjoys traveling to new destinations, skiing, kayaking and playing with her dog.
Meighan’s 10 years of experience in the contract furniture industry are demonstrated with a great deal of enthusiasm. Meighan will prepare your quotes, enter your orders, check acknowlegments and track your furniture with a smile. She loves spending time with her husband and adorable daughters.
Ally was born and raised in a small town in Maine but traveled extensively after high school and through college. After completing her degree in Architecture she moved to the Pacific North West and became part of the Commercial Office Interiors family. Her two favorite movies are Clue and Shall We Dance. Some of her favorite hobbies include reading, singing and spinning in circles.
15 years in the contract furniture industry contribute to her being a vital member of your furniture team, coordinating and communicating seamlessly between the customer, the manufacturer, and the other furniture team members. She will provide quotes, enter orders, assist in coordinating delivery and installation, and be available to answer any furniture questions.
Kylie is new to the furniture business, and with a degree in Arts, she is looking forward to learning about commercial design. As a sales coordinator, Kylie will be able to help start your order process, from quotes and purchasing to installation. She loves to spend time with her husband and daughter, and enjoys reading in her spare time. Her favorite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You.
Jaquelyn comes with previous industry experience in sales coordinating. She enjoys the diversity each job provides while quoting projects and keeping all the vital details aligned. “Ensuring there is a smiling customer at the end of every project is key.” Outside the office she enjoys an array of outdoor activities. Most of all, road racing with WMRRA.
Technical Services Designer
With over 20 years in the industry, Karen has diverse experience with various projects throughout Washington State, Chicago metropolitan area and the Far East. Planning, AutoCAD, audit specifications are Karen’s responsibility for your project. She loves yoga and playing with her daughter Sophia.
As a Washington State University alumni (Go Cougs!) Jessica is making her transition from residential to commercial design. Her strengths are with the technical side of design where she enjoys creating beautifully functional spaces. In her free time Jessica enjoys yoga and most any outdoor activity.

Rachel graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Interior Design and has worked in the industry for 25 years. Rachel’s favorite part of the job is space planning, picking finishes and fabrics, and creating renderings to help the client visualize their new space. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family on the weekend.

My husband Gary, daughter Lauren and our 2 Golden retrievers , Daisy and Gus live in Ballard. I have been on the dealership side of Interior Design for 20+ years. I have an Etsy store specializing in vintage Hawaiian clothing and I love to shop estate sales and thrift stores to find “treasures”. I love going to Kinesis Class, an interval style core/cardio workout then going home and pouring a big yummy glass of red wine.

Angela has a degree in Interior Design from Washington State University. Trained in the Design Build process, she comes to COI with a background in residential. Her skills in technical design and attention to detail bring her to commercial design. In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband with outdoor adventures, traveling, and attending Seattle sporting events.
Service Center Support
Kristin joined COI with a background in interior design. She enjoys being the "behind the scenes gal" - making projects the best experience possible for the client. Kristin believes customer service is key in creating lasting relationships, which is why she fits in so well here! In her spare time you can find her constructing her next Pinterest project, chasing after her boys, and exploring every backroad of the Pacific Northwest.
After 14 years in Telecommunications, Bernadette has decided to make a career change and join COI. A place where her skills could be tapped into, utilized and add value to the day to day business. She is excited to be part of the team and take on new responsibilities where she can learn and grow within this industry. In her personal life, she is active with a cultural dance group in Washington sharing Chamorro (Guam) and Polynesian (Hawai’i, New Zealand, & Tahiti) song & dance.
Jim has over 24 years of furniture industry experience. Jim’s role includes managing the Service Center, installation teams, and logistics needs. He enjoys chasing his young son around and spending St Patrick’s Day with his elder daughter.
Field Project Manager
Ed has been in the furniture industry for over 25 years. He’s had his hands in all aspects of the installation field -- as an installer, scheduler, warehouse manager, quotations manager and project manager, from single piece deliveries all the way up to multiple building installations with thousands of workstations. When he’s not at work, you can usually find him in his race shop, preparing his NASCAR Super Late Model race car for the next race. His favorite vacation spot is Cabo San Lucas where he spends time polishing up on his amateur pool volleyball skills and searching for the best street taco!
Senior Project Manager
Jon has been in the office furniture industry for 23 plus years. He started fresh out of high school in 1988 as an installer. Since then he has moved into project management and operations manager. Jon prides himself in his strong work ethic, organizational and ability to multi-task and problem solve. He recently took a six year break from office furniture and worked as the Lead Health Unit Coordinator at Swedish Medical Center's Cherry Hill Emergency Department which gives him a unique understanding of healthcare needs. Jon and his wife Linda have 3 grown sons ages 27, 24, 21 and 2 cats. Jon is passionate about golfing. "You can call me what you want just don't call me late for a tee time."
Aaron has been in the furniture industry for the past 14 years. He has worked in Installation, Asset Management, Refurbishment, Coordination, and Project Management. Prior to COI, Aaron was at Starbucks Corporate HQ, where he worked as a MAC facilities Project Manager, fulfilling their daily requests and high profile offices. In his spare time Aaron enjoy long runs, and hiking. Every year he tries and take part in the rock n roll marathons.
I have been in the commercial interiors business for 14 years. I started in the field as an installer then quickly moved to a job site supervisor. I then project managed for 7 years before moving to the Director of operations role. My wife Shauna and our two boys, Preston and Landon currently reside in Bonney Lake. In our spare time we love to travel the country and spend a lot of our time outdoors. We are also huge sports fanatics in our household.
Melissa joined the COI team with over 10 years of banking and financial services experience. She loves keeping our vendors happy with timely payments and learning all about the office furniture industry. Her favorite movie is The Goonies and enjoys traveling with her husband.
